Library
The Herman Brown Free Library is located on the square in Burnet. The library is supported by the entire community and currently has 30,000 volumes including excellent historical reference books, genealogy research materials, large print books, video cassette tapes, children's books and current adult titles. Other services include weekly story hours for preschoolers, adult reading literacy and G.E.D. study programs, computers, internet access and counselors to teach the novice computer user, and a meeting room for community use. The library strives to meet the educational, informational and recreational needs of the entire community.

Burnet Community Center
Burnet Community CenterThe Burnet Community center is located on the Southwest corner of Jackson Street and Boundary Street.  It has a large capacity meeting room, full kitchen and restroom facilities.

 

Galloway-Hammond Recreation Center
Galloway-Hammond Recreation CenterThis state-of-the-art recreational facility offers the citizens of Burnet a variety of recreational activities from indoor swimming pools to nature walk-ways and sports fields. Memberships are available by stopping by or calling GHRC at (512) 756-6180

 

Delaware Springs Municipal Golf Course
Delaware Springs Municipal Golf Course Hole #1The Delaware Springs Golf Course is cradled by the trees and gentle rolling hills near the Highland Lakes. Picturesque and challenging, this 6829 yard back tees, Par 72 course has earned its place as a Hill Country favorite. Located 2 miles South of Burnet, next to the Airport off Highway 281.
