Prior to the Grand Opening S|O Gallery will host a special preview evening: a book signing with Steve Bartlett — former U.S. Congressman, former Mayor of Dallas, and lifelong Central Texan — in celebration of his newly released memoir, Ah Ha! The Power of Purpose: Family, Faith, and A Life Well-Lived. The book signing takes place on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the gallery.
About the Book
Ah Ha! The Power of Purpose is a collection of bite-sized personal stories — each an “AH HA!” moment — that trace Steve Bartlett’s journey from a farm in Central Texas to the halls of Congress, the mayor’s office of one of America’s largest cities, and the boardrooms of the financial services industry. The book is peopled with unforgettable figures: Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Ann Richards, Mother Teresa, and the woman who would become his wife, Gail.
