Burnet County Democrats Host Wine and Cheese Social at the Lake
Featuring Pam Baggett, Candidate Texas House District 19
The Burnet County Democratic Club will host a wine and cheese social on Sunday, September 18, 2 PM to 4 PM, on the beautiful shores of Lake LBJ. The social will feature Texas House District 19 candidate Pam Baggett. BCDC Officer nominations for 2023 will be presented during a brief business meeting.

Registration is required. Contact info@bcdctx.org for registration information. Registration deadline is Friday, September 16.
The current BCDC President, BJ Henry, stated, “I encourage all our members to attend this important event. We have exciting candidates for you to meet, so please join us.”

“Pam Baggett has a long list of qualifications to serve in the Texas House. At five years of age, she began campaigning for her grandfather’s run for County Clerk and she has not stopped since. She has worked on campaigns for Sarah Weddington, Geraldine Ferraro, Ann Richards, and Wendy Davis just to name a few”, stated BCDC Vice President Mary Thompson.
Baggett is a University of Texas journalism graduate. She worked as a reporter and in public affairs for state government, hospitals, professional associations, and FEMA. She also owned her own small business for public affairs and crisis management. She currently works with the National Alliance on Mental Health.
According to the website, pambaggettfortexas.com, she follows the “Golden Rule” in politics and in life: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Can you imagine what our legislature could accomplish if we sat down together with this rule in mind? My promise is to do so at every opportunity.”
