Highland Lakes Service League- Meeting/Membership details
SERVICE ORGANIZATION GROWS WITH THE COMMUNITY
For over 30 years, the Service League has raised funds for non-profit organizations and women’s scholarships and has been a visible force in the community. Their signature annual event, the Chuck Wagon Chow Down, is a highly anticipated gathering held each January, featuring local entertainment, world class barbeque, and the opportunity to participate in both silent and live auctions. Over $112,000 was raised in 2022, with the net proceeds going back into the local communities in Burnet and Llano counties.
Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at the La Quinta Inn in Marble Falls, with social time beginning at 11:30 am, and meeting activities starting at Noon. Lunch is provided by Miss Vickie’s Catering for a cost of $20.
Anyone interested in attending a meeting or joining the organization should contact Brenda Eubank (bkeubank@aol.com) or visit the website at hlsl.org.
