Lighting of the Square

Come celebrate Shop Small Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) with the Lighting of the Burnet Square.
Festivities start at 5pm with Mrs. Claus reading Christmas books to kids and singing carols. At 5:30, there will be free hot chocolate and a DIY cookie decorating table. Around 5:45, there will be brief remarks and then the lights will be flipped on around the Burnet Square. Just off the Square, the Historical Jail will be open for tours and will be giving out complimentary hot cider (109 S. Pierce St.). Several shops will be open until 6:30pm making it easy for people to Shop Small while finding gifts. The event is organized by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce.
