DESCRIPTION:The local Burnet VFW Post 6974 and Inks Lake State Park are partnering for our first-ever Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck March/Hike! This will be a non-competitive (FUN) hike on a fairly easy trail with varying lengths possible for participants. \nWhen: Sunday\, September 29th\, 10am\nWhere: Meet at Park HQ \nImportant notes:\nADA accommodations are available.\nLunch will be provided by the VFW following the hike\, and there will also be free kayak rentals for participants.\nEntrance fees will be waived for participants.\nSuggested donations of a kid toy or gift will be accepted.\nPlease note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event. \nFor questions or to request accommodations\, please email nathaniel.nouri@tpwd.texas.gov or call (830) 798-7632. \nAll events subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
