Without the proper training\, how would you know what to do? Be prepared to take care of yourself\, your family and your neighbors. \n  \nUnder the direction of local emergency responders\, CERT teams help provide critical support by giving immediate assistance to victims\, providing damage assessment information and helping to organize other volunteers at a disaster site. \n  \nOn Thursday\, October 5\, 2023\, Burnet County Office of Emergency Management will begin our next CERT class.  This training is FREE and will be held from 6:30–9:30 p.m. on Thursdays\, for 7 weeks. Training will be held at Agri-Life\, 607 N Vandeveer St\, South Wing\, Room 14 in Burnet Tx in our CERT training room. \n  \nThe training covers Disaster Planning & Preparedness\, Home Safety Plan\, Fire Extinguishers\, Basic First Aid\, and much more. \n  \nThis program is made possible by a CAPCOG Citizens Corps Grant Program/CERT which provides the funds for training equipment and supplies. \n  \nRegister NOW for this class! DESCRIPTION:For eight years Texas M/C Revival\, a show celebrating vintage motorcycles\, was held on the grounds of Central Texas Powersports in Georgetown\, TX. Motorcycle enthusiasts were able to display prized machines while reliving the good old days talking motorcycles and telling stories (some stories were actually true). When owner Steve Littlefield sold Central Texas Powersports the annual bike show tradition was lost. Missing fellow friends and motorcycle enthusiasts\, Steve approached Hill Country Motorheads Motorcycle Museum owner Pat Hanlon in 2021 about resurrecting the show\, and now…..the rest is history!
