Candidate Forum

All contested candidates are invited to have a table length booth at the event. The general public will be admitted to meet and mingle with candidates at 5:00 PM.

Opposed Federal and State Candidates:

• ​Will be given 3 minutes to speak.
• The candidate may send a spokesperson on their behalf.
• Instead of being present candidates my submit a video no longer than 2 minutes.
• ​Speaking and video time limits will be strictly enforced.

Opposed District and County Candidates: 

• These candidates have been invited to participate in the forum. The offices included in the forum are: District Attorney, County Commissioner Precinct 3, County Tax Accessor Collector, and Constable Precinct 2. The forum will consist of 5 questions asked of each candidate. The candidates will have 1 minute to respond and then a 1 minute rebuttal.
• Candidates will be given 2 minutes to introduce themselves and 1 minute to close.

Unopposed Candidates:

All registered unopposed candidates present will be introduced at the end of the event.

This event is organized by the Burnet County Republican Party. It is sponsored by Burnet Chamber of Commerce and Bertram Chamber of Commerce.
