The 22nd Annual Hill Country Lawn and Garden Show, sponsored by the Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association and Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service-Burnet County, will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Burnet County Agrilife Extension Office located at 607 North Vandeveer, in Burnet, Texas 78611. The free event has both indoor and outdoor activities and will be open rain or shine. Covid guidelines will be in place.
The day is filled with artisans, handicrafters and gardeners enjoying the love of horticulture and gardening. Vendors will be offering all types of plants, along with garden and outdoor inspired products and services. Master gardeners will be presenting on gardening topics and there will be a kids’ booth with activities for all ages. A beautiful quilt is being shown and accepting donations for a chance to win it. Great food will also be available. If you want to know more about 4H or the Agrilife organization, there will be pamphlets and representatives available to answer questions.
The Highland Lakes Master Gardeners is a non-profit, educational, literary and charitable organization under the auspices of the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service. Our mission is to disseminate horticultural information and practices to the community through volunteer activity. This show is a major fund raiser to assist in financing our community service projects and scholarship. Hope to see you there.
