Come join us in celebrating Inks Lake State Park’s 75th birthday!

Join us for a fun filled day celebrating our 75th birthday!

Activities will include:

Archery & Atlatl: Archery instructors will guide you through this fun activity taking aim at various targets. Adaptive archery equipment is available.
Fishing: The TPWD derby pond will be set up and stocked with over 200 catfish. Anglers will be able to keep their catches up to a limit, TBD. Bring an ice chest or cooler to take your fish home to eat!!!
A local game warden with the Operation Game Thief trailer will be on site to answer your hunting and fishing questions.
Historic Campsites: Learn what camping looked like through the decades and the timeless tradition it is.
Campsite Decorating Contest with prizes.
Historical Programs and artifacts to enjoy

When: 10am – 2pm

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do not need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
